Embark on an unforgettable 3 Days Tarangire, Ngorongoro & Serval Wildlife Safari from Zanzibar, a perfect short getaway for travelers seeking wildlife adventure and scenic landscapes. This safari begins with a transfer or flight from Zanzibar to Northern Tanzania, where you’ll explore some of the country’s most iconic parks and enjoy up-close wildlife experiences.
Your journey starts in Tarangire National Park, renowned for its large elephant herds, towering baobabs, and abundant wildlife. Here, expert guides will help you spot the majestic serval, a rare wild cat with distinctive spotted fur and long legs, often elusive in the wild. You’ll also have opportunities for direct wildlife encounters, including feeding giraffes and zebras at select conservation lodges, offering a unique and memorable experience for photographers and animal lovers alike.
Next, venture to the Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, home to lions, rhinos, wildebeest, and elephants roaming across the dramatic crater floor. During game drives, your guide will share insights about the parks’ diverse ecosystems and the behavior of the serval and other fascinating wildlife.
This safari perfectly balances adventure and comfort, featuring guided game drives, scenic lodge stays, and optional interactive wildlife activities like walking with animals in conservation areas and learning about their habitats. In just three days, travelers can experience Tanzania’s Big Five, encounter rare servals, and create lasting memories through hands-on wildlife experiences.
Whether you’re traveling as a couple, solo, or with family, the 3 Days Tarangire, Ngorongoro & Serval Wildlife from Zanzibar safari offers a unique mix of thrilling wildlife encounters, interactive animal experiences, and breathtaking scenery — all easily accessible from Zanzibar.
Your adventure begins with a morning pick-up from Arusha (or a short flight from Zanzibar to Arusha Airport). After meeting your safari guide, you’ll set off for Tarangire National Park, famous for its giant baobab trees, sweeping savannah, and large elephant herds. Enjoy a full-day game drive as you spot lions, leopards, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, buffalo, and more than 400 bird species. A picnic lunch will be served inside the park with stunning views of the Tarangire River. In the late afternoon, you’ll drive to your lodge/camp near Karatu for dinner and overnight stay.
After an early breakfast, descend 600 meters into the Ngorongoro Crater, the world’s largest intact volcanic caldera and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Known as the “Eighth Wonder of the World,” the crater hosts nearly 30,000 animals including the Big Five – lions, elephants, leopards, buffalo, and the rare black rhino. As you explore the grasslands, acacia forests, and soda lakes filled with flamingos, your guide will share insights about the wildlife and ecosystem. Enjoy a picnic lunch by the hippo pool before ascending the crater walls in the afternoon. You’ll then drive back to Arusha or catch your evening flight back to Zanzibar, marking the end of your incredible 2-day safari.
On the final day of your 3 Days Tarangire, Ngorongoro & Serval Wildlife from Zanzibar safari, you’ll start early with breakfast at your lodge before heading to a Serval wildlife conservation area. Here, under the guidance of experienced wildlife experts, you can observe these rare and elegant cats in their natural habitat, learning about their behavior and ecology. In addition to servals, the area often features giraffes, zebras, and other friendly wildlife, allowing for interactive experiences such as feeding and guided walks. This hands-on encounter offers a memorable connection with Tanzania’s wildlife, perfect for photography and educational insights.
After the serval encounter, return to your lodge to freshen up, enjoy breakfast, and pack your belongings. Your guide will then transfer you to Arusha or Kilimanjaro Airport for your flight back to Zanzibar. Along the scenic drive, reflect on your three-day adventure — from spotting elephants in Tarangire and exploring Ngorongoro Crater to your intimate serval encounter. Upon arrival in Zanzibar, your safari concludes, leaving you with unforgettable memories of wildlife, interactive animal experiences, and the stunning landscapes of Northern Tanzania.
Ludwig F2025-08-22Verified Unforgettable 3-day safari in Tanzania – just perfect! We went on a three-day safari in Tanzania and are still overwhelmed by the impressions. Everything was perfectly organized from start to finish – a big thank you to Richard and his great team! The lodges, rides and overall planning were excellent. Every moment was thought through to the last detail so we could enjoy the safari to the fullest. We were particularly moved that Richard and his team organized my marriage proposal so wonderfully. It was a magical moment that we will never forget, and without the professional and warm support it certainly would not have become so unique. Our personal highlights were the three impressive parks: 1. Ngorongoro Crater – absolutely breathtaking and for us the most beautiful experience. 2. Tarangire – herds of elephants and a wonderful landscape. 3. Lake Manyara – with its special wildlife a perfect end to the trip.We can recommend this safari without restriction – for us it was an unforgettable adventure full of emotions, nature experiences and loving organization. Thank you for this unique experience! Resort247652787152025-08-04Verified Wonderful 7 day Kilimanjaro Trek and 6 day Serengeti Safari with local company. Safari Peak organised a 2 week holiday for my son and I in July. This included transport to/from Nairobi and Arusha; hotel in Arusha, the 7 day Machame camping trek route up Kilimanjaro and a 6 day jeep safari across the Serengeti up to the north for the wildebeest migration.Safari Peak is a local company based in Arusha. They were pro-active and responsive in organising everything. They put together a great team of 13 for the trek: The guides were really helpful, the food for breakfast, lunch and dinner was pretty good for camping around 4000m (we always had too much!) and there was plenty of water. It was an amazing experience overall. For the safari, the accommodation choices were excellent including 3 nights in luxury tented camps in the Serengeti – definitely a recommendation to either wake up watching animals graze, and/or to listen to all the different animals around the tent at night. We saw all the animals the Serengeti is famous for, and a lot of these close up to the vehicle, but my favourite experience was driving off the main tracks, away from other vehicles and just parking up and listening to all the birds and noises, and if your patient the animals too. There was a few moments with the Safari Peak team which made our time in Tanzania feel very special and unique, and we got to feel the warmth of the people who live there. Safari Peak made us feel very welcome in Tanzania and left us with a lifelong impression of the people and country. Overall, I would strongly recommend Safari Peak. Neeter Y2025-02-19Verified The Majestic Kilimanjaro **Unforgettable 8-Day Lemosho Route Trek with Safari Peak & Guide Sistus**I just returned from the incredible 8-day Lemosho Route trek to Mount Kilimanjaro, and I am beyond thrilled with my experience, thanks to Safari Peak and our amazing guide, Sistus. From start to finish, this trip exceeded all expectations, and I couldn't have asked for a better team to support me along the way.Sistus was the highlight of the entire trek. He is an exceptional guide—knowledgeable, experienced, and incredibly supportive. His expertise on the mountain and its terrain was evident, but what stood out the most was his calm and encouraging presence. He took the time to ensure that everyone in our group was comfortable, well-informed, and properly acclimatized, offering guidance at every step. His sense of humor and positive energy were a huge morale booster, especially on the more challenging days. The Lemosho Route itself was breathtaking, with every day bringing a new, stunning landscape—dense forests, open savannahs, and the dramatic alpine desert as we neared the summit. The 8-day itinerary gave us the perfect balance of time for acclimatization, which helped avoid altitude sickness and made the whole experience much more enjoyable. The team from Safari Peak did an amazing job with logistics. Our porters were always hard at work, ensuring that our camps were set up before we arrived and that everything was in order. The food was consistently delicious and hearty, and I was amazed at the variety they managed to prepare at such high altitudes. The tents were well-kept, and we felt truly cared for during the entire trek.Summiting Kilimanjaro was an emotional and triumphant moment, and I owe so much of that success to Sistus and the whole Safari Peak crew. Their professionalism, expertise, and genuine care made this once-in-a-lifetime adventure a reality. If you’re looking for an exceptional Kilimanjaro experience, I highly recommend Safari Peak. Ask for Sistus as your guide—you won’t regret it!
